BrandBase created, developed and produced this Design Water Bottle for Shell. This water bottle, made from recycled plastic, isn’t only very useful, each bottle also contributes to achieving three important goals: less plastic, less waste and less poverty. Buy one of these water bottles and you’re also helping to support The Plastic Bank, an organisation that takes waste plastic and turns it into a source of income for people in developing countries.
The Plastic Bank supports people in developing countries
They stimulate them with the collection of plastic litter, and deliver it to one of their Plastic Bank locations. At those Plastic Bank locations people can exchange the plastic they have collected to get a fair price per kilo in return. The Plastic Bank is currently active in Haiti and the Philippines. This year they are planning to open new locations in Indonesia and Brazil.
